Why it works

Follow-up #1 asks a yes/no question instead of restating your pitch. A direct question is the hardest thing to ignore in an inbox.

Common mistakes

Sending follow-ups from a new email thread. Always reply to the original. Context is everything.
Following up after 24 hours. This signals desperation. Three business days is the minimum.
